Translated from the original into English by the author. To which is prefixed, A short answer to Volney's contradictions on Ali-Bey's History and revolt; and an Appendix; containing a particular Description of the Holy Land, and a concise Narration of the modern Patriarchs who resided in that Holy See, from the Beginning of the Sixteenth Century to the present Time; with some Anecdotes.
